Jan Sedláček, a student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague, has achieved success in the IREC 2020 competition of international student teams.
Among the participants who scored points in the IREC – International Real Estate Challenge 2020 student competition, which took place at Politecnico Milano in Italy from 8.1. to 17.1.2020, there was Jan Sedláček, a student in the Bachelor’s programme at the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague. This year’s competition was attended by 52 students from 10 European universities with three FCE representatives. They were divided into 11 international teams and each team was presented a specific task to solve for one city. In the very final, the winning design chosen was the proposed solution for Dublin designed by a team of students from Bauhaus Universität Weimar, Politecnico Milano, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and CTU in Prague – namely Jan Sedláček.
The winners were also presented with trophies from RICS – Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. Student participation was sponsored by the PANATTONI Czech Republic Development Company.
