CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND ENGINEERING

The study in this program is subjected to tuition fees charged.

A management and technical programme focusing on conceptual and strategic planning, construction planning, construction project implementation and the operation of constructions.

Features

  • The study programme is centred on the basic types of construction works – buildings, engineering structures, transportation structures and eco-friendly constructions.
  • The study programme responds to the current global trends in the field of construction project management and implementation using software tools, mainly Building Information Modelling (BIM).
  • It constitutes fundamental and applied research and independent creative activity in construction and civil engineering in the areas of construction project management, supply systems, company management, building execution processes, quality management, cost management in relation to life cycle costing (LCC) and the life cycle analysis (LCA) of constructions, investment and financing of buildings, risk management, value analysis, energy management in buildings and the application of information technology in the management of construction projects.

The main goal of doctoral degree studies in the Construction Management and Engineering programme is to set up individual study plans to prepare specialists who will actively participate in the applications of the latest scientific and technical findings in both the public and private sector.

The graduates of the CME programme will readily find employment as, e.g.:
